Baume & Mercier have their latest version of their extremely successful Clifton collection of chronographs ahead of the 2016 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH).
The 2016 Clifton is elegant and modern, but delivers punches of vintage flair to bring a watch that is ideal for discerning gentlemen. The Clifton utilises a Swiss-made Valjoux 7751 caliber automatic movement, a moon phase disk which completes one rotation every 29 and a half days and the case back is crafted from sapphire crystal to allow a sophisticated look inside the luxurious movement.
The watch has a beautiful finish on the snail and “Côtes de Genève” decoration on the oscillating mass. There’s also perlage finishing on the bridges and plates as well as blued-steel screws.
The case itself clocks in at 43mm and is mounted on a black alligator strap with a secure triple folding clasp for supreme comfort.
The Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar will arrive next year after its official debut at the SIHH convention.
